The seminar for African lotteries executives held
in Brazzaville in Congo from the 05th to 09th of November
2002 about the topic “Africa lotteries at the
time of IT” at the end of the workshops made recommendations
among which the creation of the website of the AASL
and the implication of the Asssociation in the promotion
of the IT to ficilitate the exchange of experiences
among different executive lotteries of the AASLwhich
took good note of the recmmandations and is happy to
present ( introduce ) the site of the Association. This
site is that of the lotteries and state- run betting
systems of Africa.
You will find
The presentation of AASL
the planning of its activities and those of the different
lotteries and state-run betting systems companies. For
that it is necessary to communicate the activities to
the Secretariat General on time
The missions ( duties ) of the Association
The statutes and regulations
The adresses of member countries and sister associations
A forum of exchanges and experiences
An electronic mailing department
in order to enrich this site with informations and make
it friendly, invite each member compagny of the AASL
to participate in the forum of sharing experiences about
miscellaneous topics that will be proposed to you.
As the president in office of the biennial 2002 –
2004, I am pleased to welcome you on our site. This
Association created in 1981, has worked a lot and has
about twenty regular member for the time being. And
there is a long way still to go.
Conscious of the responsibilities of its members and
their implications in the socio- economic development
of the population, the Association has implemented this
tool to better inform and serve you.
This web site thus witnesses the concern of our Association
to enlarge its puplic and create a link based on the
dialogue with all its members and also wants to be the
cybernetic place where each of us will go and get informations
while giving a little of what he knows, from this well
of informations about African lotteries and state- run
betting systems through the resources available on line
and the links towards the partners sites...
I hope that the different components of the world of
games will get this new tool for their miscellaneous
needs. Hoping that the creation of this site, besides
the fact that it permits our Association to be at the
time of the IT, will be an additional union tool for
our companies, a real access gate to lotteries and state-run
betting systems of Africa.
